Parks are not for industrial exploitation

The present "government" appears to want o give industrial / development activities a free reign in OUR Parks via   Bill 4 ---2014  Park Amendment Act, 2014 . A typical inoculous looking act, that has the potential to profoundly change the way that OUR parks are protected.

From the Georgia Strait:
Andrew Gage: Park Amendment Act paves the way for industrial exploration?

Peter Wood: Is B.C.’s Park Act in peril?

The Wilderness Committee:
Changes to Park Act condemned by environmentalists for threats to protected areas

West Coast Environmental Law, ( WCEL ):
Changes to Park Act condemned by environmentalists for threats to protected areas

"Research" in our parks could easily be Fracking, mining, pipelines, resource harvesting  in a park near you, appears to be the road that the present "government" wants to go down with OUR parks.  Somebody forgot to tell them that Parks above all should be to protect nature,  and are not to be industrialized if at all possible. Is nothing sacred, with these people? Oh, yes Money in their pockets.
Gas wells in Stanley Park next, but wait that has been tried before, fairly close by anyway and the brokers won, and the investors lost, as usual.  [ there is actually over 53 oil and gas prospecting wells in the Fraser Valley, all came up blank ]
